A family affair…
My cousin, Lenny, had her baby shower on the weekend - She’s on the right and 7 months pregnant (so it’s not too hard to figure out which one is her).
It was a little traumatic as I hadn’t seen most of these people for 5-10 years and some I met for the first time!
I tried to explain to Grant what the connection was but I think his eyes started glazing over when I said, “that one is my father’s eldest brother’s wife and that one is the wife of their first son, etc); they are basically all my father’s nieces (that are in Australia, anyway), some of their children, one of his sisters-in-law and her sisters and daughters-in-law + my mum and sister…
